Project Area

PAHAL has been working in the North West District of Delhi covering 10 urban villages and 12 unauthorized colonies that have been divided into two Legislative Assembly Constituencies of North West Delhi, Babana or Rohini. It is the main point of intersection as Rohini -20(JJ CLUSTER) urban village Begumpur, Karala village, Kanjawala village, Puth Klan village. PAHAL, through its various intervention programmes in reaching 12 unauthorized Colonies and 7 urban villages of the District with total population of 3651261 /Urban 3437515 and Rural 213746.

Project Aim

To empower woman and equip them to promote gender equality and developed livelihood sustainable processes (and enhance their Employability).

Project Association

In association with Stree Shakti–Suvidha Kendra run By Delhi Government and working together under the “PAHAL GRC” since 2009, approximately, about 37000 women are associates with PAHAL, out of which 1763 women are direct beneficiary and have become fully skilled. However, 1357 women got documentary certificate achievement who are in the category of the gender of women/Girl.

Promote Gender Equality and Empower Women

  1. Promote employment skill, upgradation of training to the girls and women from the community and enhance their employability.
  2. In-house training will be provided to the beneficiary in PAHAL inassociation withSTREE SHAKTI –SUVIDHA KENDRA, located in Rohini sec-20.
  3. For wider participation and enrolment of the girls and women in the training course being run In PAHAL since 2009.  Approximately 1763 have been trained in stitching and beautician, computer, or jewellery-making course.
